Maximum

The highest value attained by a meteorological variable over a specified period or within a given spatial domain. This can apply to measurements such as temperature, pressure, wind speed, or precipitation accumulation. For instance, the daily maximum temperature is the highest temperature recorded during a 24-hour period.
