Moazagotl

A specific type of lenticular cloud formation, often appearing as a stack of smooth, lens-shaped clouds, that forms over the Riesengebirge (Giant Mountains) in Central Europe. This phenomenon is a classic example of mountain wave clouds, generated by stable air flowing over topography. It is named after a local term for the phenomenon.
