Newton's laws of motion
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007536
A set of three fundamental physical laws that describe the relationship between a body and the forces acting upon it, and its motion in response to those forces. These laws form the basis for understanding atmospheric dynamics, governing the movement of air parcels and the development of weather systems. They are applied to derive the equations of motion for fluid flow in the atmosphere.
