Octa

A unit of measurement used in meteorology to describe the fraction of the sky covered by clouds. One octa represents one-eighth of the sky. Cloud cover is typically reported in whole octas, ranging from 0 octas (clear sky) to 8 octas (overcast sky), with 9 octas indicating that the sky is obscured or cannot be observed.
