Plum rains

The seasonal rain period that occurs in late spring and early summer across East Asia, particularly in China, Korea, and Japan. This period is characterized by persistent, heavy rainfall and high humidity, coinciding with the ripening of plums. It is driven by the seasonal migration of the East Asian monsoon front.
