Radar return

The portion of a transmitted radar pulse that is reflected or scattered back to the radar antenna by a target. This returned signal, also known as an echo, carries information about the target's location, size, shape, and motion. In meteorology, radar returns originate from hydrometeors like rain, snow, and hail, providing data for weather analysis.
