Ragged ceiling

A cloud ceiling that is irregular and poorly defined, often characterized by fragmented or broken cloud bases at varying heights. This condition makes it difficult to determine a precise ceiling height for aviation purposes. It is frequently observed with stratus or fractocumulus clouds in turbulent atmospheric conditions.
