Indefinite ceiling

A meteorological condition where the vertical visibility is restricted due to obscuring phenomena, such as fog, heavy snow, or blowing dust, making it impossible to determine a specific cloud base height. In such cases, the ceiling is reported as indefinite, and the vertical visibility is given instead. This condition significantly impacts aviation operations.
