Spectrobolometer

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009112

An instrument designed to measure the distribution of radiant energy across different wavelengths within a spectrum. It combines a bolometer, which detects thermal radiation, with a spectrometer to disperse the radiation into its constituent wavelengths. This device is used in atmospheric science to analyze solar radiation and its absorption by atmospheric gases.
