Spectropyrheliometer
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009117
An instrument designed to measure the spectral distribution of direct solar irradiance. It combines the functions of a pyrheliometer, which measures direct solar radiation, with a spectrometer to resolve the radiation into its constituent wavelengths. This device is used to study the solar spectrum and its variations, which influence Earth's climate and atmospheric processes.
