Total head
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009713
The sum of the elevation head, pressure head, and velocity head at a given point in a fluid flow system. It represents the total mechanical energy per unit weight of the fluid. In meteorology, this concept is applied in fluid dynamics to analyze atmospheric flows, particularly in the context of Bernoulli's principle.
