Tundra climate

A polar climate type characterized by extremely cold temperatures, short growing seasons, and the presence of permafrost. This climate supports low-growing vegetation such as mosses, lichens, and dwarf shrubs, but no trees. It is found in high latitudes, typically between the taiga and permanent ice caps, and is classified as ET in the Köppen climate classification system.
