Vapor line

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009946

A boundary on a phase diagram that separates the vapor phase from the liquid or solid phase of a substance. For water, this line represents the conditions of temperature and pressure at which liquid water and water vapor can coexist in equilibrium. Crossing this line indicates a phase change, such as evaporation or condensation.
