Vapor pressure
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-002961
The partial pressure exerted by water vapor in a mixture of gases, such as the atmosphere. It represents the contribution of water molecules to the total atmospheric pressure. This value indicates the amount of moisture present in the air and is a key factor in determining the dew point and relative humidity.
