Vent da Mùt

A cold, gusty northeasterly wind that descends from the Maloja Pass into the Upper Engadine valley in Switzerland. This local wind is a type of katabatic or mountain wind, often occurring on clear afternoons when a pressure gradient develops between the pass and the valley floor. It is a characteristic weather feature of the St. Moritz region.
