Absolute filter

A filter designed to remove all particles larger than a specified micron rating, providing a high degree of filtration efficiency. It typically achieves a removal efficiency of 99.9% or greater for particles exceeding its stated pore size. These filters are used in applications where precise fluid cleanliness is required, such as in completion fluids or injection water.
