Nominal filter

A filter rated to capture a certain percentage of particles at or above a specified micron size, but not necessarily all of them. This rating indicates the filter's general capability rather than a precise cutoff. For example, a 10-micron nominal filter might capture 90% of particles 10 microns or larger.
