Pressure capability

The maximum internal pressure a component or system can withstand without failure or permanent deformation. This rating is determined by material properties, design specifications, and manufacturing processes. Pressure capability is a key design parameter for pipelines, wellheads, and pressure vessels, often specified in pounds per square inch (psi) or kilopascals (kPa).
