Adjusted flow time
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000061
An equivalent flow duration, used in pressure buildup analysis, calculated as the volume produced since the previous long shut-in divided by the rate just before the well was closed. Using it in place of the elapsed time lets a variable-rate history be treated as one constant-rate flow period, so the buildup data can be plotted against Horner time. It is also known as the pseudo-producing time.
