Blaine fineness

A measure of the specific surface area of a finely ground material, such as cement or barite, determined by its resistance to airflow through a compacted sample. It indicates the particle size distribution and reactivity of the material. Blaine fineness is expressed in square centimeters per gram (cm²/g).
