Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000495
A well intervention technique where a larger-diameter pipe or casing is run over a smaller, stuck pipe string to free it or to mill it into smaller pieces. This process involves rotating the outer pipe with a specialized shoe to cut away the stuck inner pipe. It is employed when conventional fishing methods have failed to retrieve the obstruction.
