A downhole tool with a hardened, abrasive cutting face used for grinding or cutting metal, cement, or rock in a wellbore. Mills are rotated by the drillstring or coiled tubing to remove obstructions such as stuck packers, bridge plugs, collapsed casing, or cement plugs. The cutting structure is made of tungsten carbide or a similar hard material, and mills are available in designs like junk mills, pilot mills, and string mills for specific applications.
