Composite frac tree
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000784
A specialized wellhead assembly used during hydraulic fracturing that integrates multiple valves and connections into a single, compact unit. It is designed to withstand high pressures and abrasive fluids while directing the flow of frac fluid into the well and managing returns. This configuration reduces the number of individual components and potential leak paths compared to traditional frac trees.
