Condensate ratio

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000802

The volume of condensate produced per unit volume of natural gas, expressed as barrels of condensate per million standard cubic feet of gas (bbl/MMscf). The ratio indicates how rich the gas stream is in heavier hydrocarbons that condense at surface conditions. Its reciprocal is the gas-condensate ratio in scf/bbl, so 50 bbl/MMscf corresponds to 20,000 scf/bbl.
