Rich gas condensate
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003161
A reservoir fluid that is gas at initial conditions but drops out a large volume of liquid, called retrograde condensate, when pressure falls below the dew point. The liquid accumulates in the pores and reduces gas recovery. Its gas-oil ratio is relatively low for a gas condensate, typically from about 3,000 to 10,000 scf/bbl, which corresponds to roughly 100 to 330 bbl/MMscf.
