Gas condensate
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001615
A hydrocarbon mixture that exists as a gas in the reservoir but condenses into a liquid (condensate) as pressure and temperature decrease during production. This occurs when the reservoir fluid's dew point is between the reservoir and surface conditions. The liquid yield is typically between 50 and 200 barrels per million standard cubic feet of gas.
