Lean gas condensate
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002145
A reservoir gas that yields only a small volume of liquid condensate as pressure and temperature fall during production. Its gas-oil ratio is high, and the produced gas is mostly methane and ethane with minor heavier fractions. The liquid recovered is light, with a high API gravity, in contrast with a rich gas condensate that gives much more liquid per unit of gas.
