Lean gas

Natural gas that contains a low concentration of heavier hydrocarbon components, such as propane, butane, and natural gas liquids (NGLs). This gas is primarily composed of methane and has a lower heating value compared to rich gas. Lean gas typically requires less processing before being sent to market.
