Wet gas
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004153
Natural gas that contains a relatively high proportion of heavier hydrocarbon components, such as ethane, propane, and butane, in addition to methane. These heavier hydrocarbons condense into liquids at surface conditions, making them valuable byproducts. The gas-oil ratio (GOR) for wet gas is typically between 20,000 and 100,000 standard cubic feet per barrel.
