Dry gas

Natural gas that consists almost entirely of methane, with very low concentrations of heavier hydrocarbons like ethane, propane, and butane, and minimal non-hydrocarbon components. It typically contains less than 0.1 gallons of condensable liquids per thousand cubic feet. Dry gas requires minimal processing before pipeline transportation and direct use.
