Raw natural gas

Natural gas as it emerges from a wellhead, before any processing or treatment. It contains methane along with other hydrocarbons such as ethane, propane, and butane, as well as non-hydrocarbon impurities like water vapor, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, helium, and nitrogen. This unprocessed gas must undergo purification to meet pipeline specifications and be suitable for commercial use.
