Crude oil

A naturally occurring, unrefined petroleum product composed of hydrocarbon compounds and other organic materials, found in geological formations beneath the Earth's surface. It ranges in color from yellow to black and can be thick or thin. Crude oil is classified by its API gravity and sulfur content, which determine its market value and refining process.
