Expendable gun

A perforating gun designed to be left in the wellbore after firing, rather than being retrieved. These guns are constructed from materials that can be easily milled, dissolved, or crushed, or are simply small enough to not obstruct future operations. They are used in situations where retrieval is difficult, costly, or unnecessary, such as in highly deviated or horizontal wells.
