Strip gun
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003653
A perforating gun design where individual shaped charges are mounted on a flexible metal strip or carrier, rather than inside a rigid pressure-retaining tube. This construction allows for a higher charge density and a larger hole size compared to capsule guns. Strip guns are often used in through-tubing perforating operations.
