Flow back

To allow fluids to return from the wellbore to the surface after a treatment, such as fracturing or acidizing. This process removes spent treatment fluids and allows the well to clean up and begin producing hydrocarbons. The flowback rate and composition are monitored to assess treatment effectiveness.
