Fourier synthesis
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001547
The process of reconstructing a complex waveform or signal by combining its individual sinusoidal components, each with a specific frequency, amplitude, and phase. This is the inverse operation of Fourier analysis, transforming data from the frequency domain back to the time or spatial domain. It is used in seismic processing to reconstruct filtered or modified signals.
