Gooseneck

A curved section of pipe that connects the standpipe to the rotary hose on a drilling rig. This component allows high-pressure drilling fluid to be pumped from the surface equipment to the swivel and then into the drill string. Its curved shape accommodates movement and vibration during drilling operations.
