Standpipe

A high-pressure steel pipe mounted vertically on one leg of a derrick or mast, forming part of the rig's mud circulating system. It connects the mud pumps to the rotary hose, which then directs drilling fluid to the swivel and down the drill string. The standpipe manifold includes pressure gauges and valves for monitoring and controlling mud circulation.
