Isochron map
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002046
A contour map that displays the two-way travel time to a specific seismic horizon across a survey area. The contours connect points of equal travel time, illustrating the time-domain structure of the subsurface. This type of map is used to identify structural highs and lows before converting to depth.
