Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000834

A line on a map that connects points of equal elevation or equal value of a specific geological parameter, such as structural depth or formation thickness. Contour lines are used to represent the three-dimensional shape of geological surfaces or subsurface structures.
