Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002169

An injection pattern used in waterflooding or other fluid injection projects where injection wells are arranged in a line, and production wells are arranged in a parallel line. This creates a linear flood front that sweeps oil from the injection line to the production line. It is often used in reservoirs with a strong directional permeability.
