Line source solution
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002170
A mathematical model used in well test analysis that describes the pressure transient behavior in an infinite-acting, homogeneous reservoir due to a well producing at a constant rate. This solution assumes the well is a vertical line of infinitesimal radius. It forms the basis for many pressure transient analysis techniques.
