Pseudosteady state
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002987
A flow regime in a closed reservoir, reached after the pressure disturbance has felt every boundary, in which pressure falls at the same constant rate at every point of the drainage area. A plot of pressure against time on Cartesian axes is then a straight line, and its slope gives the pore volume the well is draining. It follows the infinite-acting transient period.
