Hydrocarbon compounds that exist in a liquid state at ambient temperature and pressure, ranging from light condensates to heavy crude oils. These substances are composed of molecules with more carbon atoms than gaseous hydrocarbons. They are extracted from reservoirs and processed into fuels, lubricants, and petrochemical feedstocks.
