No-go landing nipple
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002550
A type of landing nipple with an internal shoulder that provides a physical stop to prevent a flow-control device or running tool from passing through it. The corresponding lock mandrel has a matching no-go shoulder that lands on this restriction, providing positive depth location for setting the device. This design contrasts with selective nipples, which lack a restrictive shoulder and rely on a profiled key system for location.
