Packer fluid

A specialized fluid placed in the annulus between the production tubing and the casing above a packer in a completed well. Its primary functions are to transmit hydraulic pressure, prevent corrosion, and provide hydrostatic pressure to control formation fluids. Common packer fluids include inhibited brines, oil, or synthetic fluids.
