Packer

A downhole device that creates a seal between the tubing or casing and the wellbore wall. It isolates zones for production, injection, or well treatment, preventing fluid movement in the annulus. Packers are set mechanically, hydraulically, or by inflation and are rated for specific pressure and temperature conditions.
