Pumping schedule
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003004
A detailed, time-based plan specifying the sequence, volumes, rates, and pressures for injecting fluids into a well during a treatment operation. Pumping schedules are designed for specific objectives, such as creating fractures, dissolving formation damage, or placing a cement plug. A typical hydraulic fracturing schedule includes stages for pad fluid, proppant-laden slurry at increasing concentrations, and a final flush fluid, all with precisely controlled pump rates and pressures.
