Rheological
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003155
Relating to the study of the deformation and flow of matter, especially in the context of drilling fluids, reservoir rocks, and produced hydrocarbons. These properties dictate how fluids move through pipes, how rocks deform under pressure, and how drilling muds perform their functions. Viscosity and yield point are common rheological parameters measured for drilling fluids.
