Roller stem
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003192
A component of a wireline tool string that incorporates rollers to reduce friction when moving through deviated or horizontal wellbores. The rollers minimize contact between the tool string and the casing or tubing wall, allowing for smoother and more efficient deployment and retrieval of logging tools or other downhole equipment. This design reduces drag and potential damage to the wireline.
